It is preferred especially in long-haired patients and women who do not have a large balding area, as it will reduce the discomfort of complete shaving. It starts with shaving a small area in the donor area and goes with harvested grafts are implanted to recipient area. Becasue of recipient area is not shaven it allow patients to go back their social life more faster.

USING BODY HAIR

In order to support the donor area in patients with large balding space, it is aimed to reach the targeted number of grafts by taking the some follicules from beard area aswell. Theoretically, hair follicles on the chest and other parts of the body can also be used, but the retention rate of these relatively weak roots is low and it is seen that they shed again over time.
